Order Information and Policies

Ordering from The Knotty Owl

Most of our pieces are made-to-order, and can take up to 2 weeks to create before being shipped to you. Please keep this in mind when ordering, and feel free to contact us before ordering to inquire about actual production time.

Each of our pieces comes presented in a recycled-paper gift box, suitable for gift-giving. Care Instructions are included with every order, and can also be found here.

 

Payment Policy

The Knotty Owl accepts payment by most major credit cards and Stripe.
If you would like to make a purchase using Paypal, please let us know using the contact form here, and include the item(s) you'd like to purchase. We can send you an invoice directly through Paypal. 

8% sales tax is collected for sales made within the state of New York. We do not offer local pick-up at this time.

 

Shipping Policies

US SHIPPING: all packages are shipped First Class USPS (shipping time is typically 2-5 days within the United States). Shipping prices include a package tracking number. Additional domestic insurance requestsmay be made by the buyer.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: all packages are shipped First Class International USPS. Insurance is included for ALL international orders. Average delivery time ranges from 2-8 weeks, depending on customs and your country's postal system.

Shipping prices include packaging and handling. Shipping upgrades may be requested by the buyer.

If purchasing an item as a gift, we offer direct shipping if provided with the new shipping information at checkout. Please let us know in the Notes at checkout if you would like a personalized gift-tag included inside the package.

 

Refund and Exchange Policy

Due to the small nature of our business, all sales are considered final.

We do offer exchanges within 14 days of receipt of your item- Please contact us if you would like to exchange your item for another one from our shop. 

All items are carefully and lovingly packaged, and sent in a bubble-envelope to ensure against possible damage. However, if your piece does arrive damaged or broken in any way, please do not hesitate to let us know immediately so that we may assist you in repairing or exchanging the piece.
